Now that exams are over and the summer holidays are approaching, you may find that you have plenty of time on your hands but not many things to do. Although the idea of sleeping all day... every day seems appealing, it can quickly get boring. So today I thought I would give you some things to do when you are bored. Organise a day out Leaving the house is the first step to socialising and not sit in front of the t.v all summer. Meet up with some friends, or family and do something whether it involves watching a film or going to the park. The activity doesn't even have to take the whole day, as being occupied for a few hours can quickly make the rest of your day more interesting.
I've had the Makeup Revolution Highlighter in Golden Lights for a while now and it's been my favourite highilighter since day 1. Despite looking a silver colour in the pan, it is a beautiful gold colour. I have a olive skin tone so this colour looks like a 'natural' highlight colour like an actual glow from the sun. However I think this would look great on other skin tones because it doesn't look like a yellow streak across your face.
As a person who suffers from acne, let me tell you that looking after your skin is so important. It's not just about what you put on your face but it's also what you put in your body. I'm keeping the introduction short because we have a lot to get through. Face wash: I have 2 different face washes, they both are good so I just pick up whichever one I feel like using each morning. The first is good for sensitive skin and it's the Simple Kind To Skin Moisturising Facial Wash which is normally £3.59 but has been reduced to £1.75 in both Superdrug and Boots. The second is the Clearasil Daily Clear Hydra-blast Gel Wash which is £3.05 in Superdrug.
I am constantly searching in my life for inspiration because even though you should be your own unique person, picking up good habits and following good lifestyles that have worked for other people can work for you to. Inspiration is there to inspire you, just like a trend.
On first look I must say that this is one of the most beautiful neutral eyeshadow palettes that I have ever seen. I am not hugely into eyeshadow but this definitely caught my eye. I would recommend getting the I Heart Makeup palette because I honestly think it is a dupe for a fraction of the price. It might be good to get if you are unsure whether the shades are for you, as you can test out the shades and then decide whether you want to buy the real palette.
We're in June so I can safely say that it's summer. It's my favourite season partly because there's so much more variety with what you can wear. If you live in a country that's not sunny all the time, having a whole wardrobe for summer can leave you sat with a pile of clothes that you cannot wear. Therefore I'm going to be running through some summer staples that you can switch around to wear over summer to make the most of your clothes.
It’s never a bad thing to be organised. In fact, organisation can help your life run quicker and smoother. For me, I need to be organised to get things done whether it be homework or other little jobs. I have had a long battle with organisation and I think in my most cluttered year, I have finally reached an “agreement” with it which seems to be working for the both of us.
I admit it, I am a perfectionist. I wouldn’t say that this is a good thing because it makes 1 job that I have to do 100 times longer and harder. Everyone always assumes that everything you do will be 100% perfect and when you get things wrong, people criticise you. But if I have learnt anything over the past few months, it’s that it’s okay not to be perfect and it’s okay to get things wrong.
Do you believe in destiny and do you think we have the ability to change it? I think that every choice we have made has resulted in us being where we are right now. Therefore I guess that makes I'm charge of our own destiny. Whether every choice we make is inevitable, that's another question.
At least once in our lives, we have all felt pretty rubbish. Feeling like the world is against you all the time! It's totally normal to experience this but it can make the way you view life very negative. I have learnt the hard way that being negative about your life won't make your life... Continue Reading →
April has gone by extremely quickly like every month, where has the time gone? Today's blog is about a few of my favourite things from this month!
I have been experimenting a lot with the content that I post on this blog and I saw on Pinterest that something to blog about is stories or things you have experienced. As a result, today’s post is going to be all about making beautiful memories. This tale is all about a school trip to... Continue Reading →
