September goals

Hello lovelies! I’ve just got back to school like a lot of you might have already and I spoke to a lot of my friends about their futures. We had results day a few weeks ago and not everyone got what they wanted but… despite this, some of them still had the brightest smiles on their faces. This small setback hasn’t stopped them from trying to achieve their goals. Instead of letting themselves being pushed off their road to success, they got back up and took a different path to reach the same goal or a new goal. I admire them a lot for that, which is why I thought I would start doing a “my goals” post every so often to remind you all as well as myself that although we may have setbacks, always keep your goals in mind and find another way.

My first goal is to get a really good score in the UKCAT which I have mentioned before. For those of you who don’t know what it is, it is a clinical aptitude test that medical related courses (medicine, dentistry and veterinary sciences) require you to take prior to university application. After my holiday I have been hitting the books and putting in at least a few hours everyday to revise for this. After all of the hurdles I have overcome, I am determined not to let this test stand in the way of university.

That was my academic goal out of the way which will ultimately help my future. However, I have quite a few other goals non-academically related that I wish to accomplish. Since I have been so busy, I have not worked out in weeks, but a hectic schedule is no excuse to not look after my health. I am going to try and fit it in at least twice a week whether this be swimming, a quick run or my normal workout.

Another goal is to stay off the chocolate which I have been doing well with so far. I rarely have it (probably once a month) and I would like to keep it this way as my skin has never been better. I love not having to worry about how spotty my skin is but instead look at how healthy and clean it is.

One of my blogging goals is to try and take better blog photos. I have been trying and it’s an improvement but not where I want it to be at the moment. In particularly been working on my flat lay photos because I love how they look. I’ve also been trying to make time to write blog posts and publish them. I have been trying every few days if I can.

I hope this post gave you inspiration to come up with your own goals. It is just another change I am trying to enforce in my life to be more positive, optimistic and make the most of all of the opportunities I am given.
