A guide to staying inspired

I am constantly searching in my life for inspiration because even though you should be your own unique person, picking up good habits and following good lifestyles that have worked for other people can work for you to. Inspiration is there to inspire you, just like a trend.

Strive for progress not perfection

I admit it, I am a perfectionist. I wouldn’t say that this is a good thing because it makes 1 job that I have to do 100 times longer and harder. Everyone always assumes that everything you do will be 100% perfect and when you get things wrong, people criticise you. But if I have learnt anything over the past few months, it’s that it’s okay not to be perfect and it’s okay to get things wrong.

What do you think?

Do you believe in destiny and do you think we have the ability to change it? I think that every choice we have made has resulted in us being where we are right now. Therefore I guess that makes I'm charge of our own destiny. Whether every choice we make is inevitable, that's another question.

Improving your outlook on life

At least once in our lives, we have all felt pretty rubbish. Feeling like the world is against you all the time! It's totally normal to experience this but it can make the way you view life very negative. I have learnt the hard way that being negative about your life won't make your life... Continue Reading →

One lovely blog award

I’ve been nominated for the ‘One Lovely Blogger Award’ by Juliana Alexis , so thanks my blogging friend. She has an amazing blog on her thoughts as a teenager which I love reading. I’d definitely recommend reading through it!   The Rules With every award there are rules so here they are: Each nominee must thank... Continue Reading →

Should you wear makeup?

I don’t feel like anyone should ever feel worried about how they look without makeup, nor should they wear it to impress others. If you like wearing a full face (even if you have flawless skin which I have seen before), then you keep doing what you’re doing. You should only ever wear or do things if it makes you happy. Never do something because it’s ‘in’ right now or because your friends are doing it. Message of this blog: embrace your natural self but don’t feel ashamed to make yourself feel happier even if that is by wearing makeup or certain clothes.

Pushed to the limit

Sometimes there's just piles and piles of work that need doing. Every time you plough through the pile, more seems to keep stacking up. That's how I feel right now. Buried under revision for these exams. It's ironic that a few days ago I wrote about revision and now I'm ripping it apart in this post. There is a such thing as "over-revising", trust me! You feel tired all the time despite getting 8 hours of sleep every night. You feel like you keep zoning out and your eyes keep closing when you look at words. If you're experiencing these dreadful symptoms, you've been pushed to the limit. Sit back, relax and let me guide you out of this mess.

The Cramm Award

I love learning new things and expanding my knowledge, it's just something that has always interested me. I've only been blogging for a week and I've already learnt things. Blogging is also like telling a story which is another thing I enjoy doing. I used to enter writing competitions at school for creative writing because it was a way to present and explore all of the random thoughts in my mind. Through my blog I can do a similar thing! What puts these random thoughts in my head?

Questioning the universe

Have you ever wondered how everything that surrounds us ever came into existence? There are of course many different religious and scientific theories on how we began. But that’s not what I meant. We have become such an advanced civilization that it’s scary yet exciting to see how far we have come. The question is: where did it all start?
